Going to try this resistor solution and have a question, I find 820K resistors that are 1/4 watt, 1/2 watt, 1 watt, does it matter which wattage I choose? Any other specifications I should be looking for?

Well, I have the spring compressors and all the tools required if SOCOMech is no longer doing the work I might just do it myself. $100.00 was a very good price and it seems like I never have the time to do my own work.

The WiFi settings on the MFT are off or disabled so I am confident the MFT isn't trying to talk to the iPhone via the WiFi.
