I agree. I was in the muscle car business for 10 years and would frequently have to tell people that the SS, Z28, Cuda, Road Runner, etc. were clones and not the real thing. But they got taken advantage of. What a shame.

How do you handle the power requirements in the rear? Do you have some sort of quick disconnect in the back? I assume you would have to use pretty large wire to run that ditance to supply the needed amps a winch draws.

Hey Yukon, I have read that thread and find the information as a great resource. I'll have to look more closely at the ability to winch backwards. I just can't wrap my head around it. The winch is always pulling in one direction, which is towards the first point in front of it. Winching...

Most Winches in this size range use the same 4 bolt pattern, so that part is easy. You would have to come up with a quick disconnect for the electrical though, and a way to get power in the back.
