I have a 13' Crew with F/R Cameras. As you all know the front camera has a handy sprayer that cleans the camera. Unfortunately I have used the front camera....well never unless I am showing someone for the wow factor.

This brings me to the rear camera, which I use every time I have ever driven my truck. Why not a sprayer or cleaner for it? Every vehicle I have purchased over the last 3 or 4 years has had a back up camera. They are an awesome tool, but unfortunately if you live in areas with sloppy rain and snow they are useless after driving a few miles.

Is there a reason this isn't done, would it be a difficult retro fit. Could you possibly modify the front sprayer to work on rear?

I've thought about this before. It would definitely be nice. I use the front camera a lot more now that I have nav-TV. Kinda sucks when backing up and you can't see shit.

I agree if I had Nav-TV I would use much more. I think about it all the time but its just not worth the hassle to activate.

I really don't think it would be a big deal to add. There are a ton of smart people on here.

Cheap tweak of the day. Put Rain-x on your back up camera lens. It keeps the sludge from building up on it.

I feel really dumb for not thinking about this before...:sexywiz:

Gonna add some Adam's Glass Sealant to it and that should clean it up.

I rain x mine which helps but it's not perfect. A sprayer would be awesome. With the nav-TV I use the front camera a lot and that entails spraying it almost every time with the weather we've had. I can't pull straight into my garage without making a 20 point turn so I back in and with the weather we've had I've been getting out to wipe it off before backing in.
