So on random occasions the locks will do this after locking with the button on the handle. It will lock for about ten seconds and then unlock itself and flash while lock noises happen. Eventually it stops and stays unlocked. Also randomly the door won’t unlock when I grab the handle. Any ideas what could possibly be causing this? Battery is fine in both the truck and the key fob.

Sometimes mines doesn’t unlock as well until the key fob is right up next to the handle. Sometimes I wait a couple seconds then I’ll grab the handle and that’ll work

I actually tried that yesterday when it was having issues. Worked once but then it was just done with it and had to use the button. Today it’s back to normal it seems. It’s very strange how things like this can come and go on the truck. Makes me think some random combo of opening and closing doors causes some module to lose it.

Starting to think this is a key fob thing. Have had it unlock as soon as I get close to the truck a couple of times. Most likely reason I can think of that happening is the fob is stuck sending the unlock signal.

Try the other key for a few days, see if it keeps happening.
Switched to the other key when I started to think it was the fob. Seemed like all was well and then it did it again today randomly.

I’m pretty tired of all the random stuff with this truck. At just over 10k miles there shouldn’t be so much stuff going on. The dealers in my area (greater Seattle) seem to be a pain to work with too.

Try Randy at Bickford.

Last I talked to them a couple of weeks ago about suspension clunk they were booked for service for quite sometime. Will give them a call again and try and get ahold of him.

Figured out what triggers this reliably today. If it has been locked in any matter and I approach the driver’s side door it happens but only if I’ve stepped away from the vehicle for at least 10ish seconds. Seems to act up more with the weather being warmer.
