Can anyone tell me what the inlet temp is on the stock Gen-2 intake? I recently added an injen cold air intake and didn't bother to check the temps before the install. I did not know you could see the inlet temp under measurements. I know the temp is always changing depending on you speed. On a 90* day when running around 60mph my inlet temp is around 8 to 10 degrees higher the the ambient temp. I just want to know what the temp. difference was when stock without reinstalling the stock airbox. If anyone can help me out by checking your measurements from your dash on a 90* day I would appreciate it.

You went from one cold air intake to another. Your IAT"s most likely are going to be the same. I believe its been documented that a aftermarket CAI doesn't do much on the Second gen raptor. Your intercooler is where your best mod is to be had.

@Ron Lanza I have to agree with @Dustan on this. I would think Intercooler temps are more beneficial.

Regardless, to answer your question, at 94F ambient air temp with the stock airbox I saw temps ranging from 104F to 120F on windy roads and "spirited" driving. Speeds ranging from 20mph (higher temps) up to ~70+ (cooler temps).

Thanks for your help. I think the temps are pretty close, stock vs CAI. At least it looks cooer !!!

Your probably correct, but when I get on it I swear it feels more responsive then it did with the stock airbox ??
Maybe it's just my mind trying to convince me I didn't just waist $400.00 on a CAI......

HELL I ZONA

I installed a CAI not an intercooler. Besides there is no readout in the dash that shows intercooler temps... Your answer makes no sense !!
There is , It is " Manifold Charge Temp" under the measurements screen , This is air temp out of intercooler to the intake manifold. The cooler the better
