more POO POO on the ECO and maybe hope for V8

so Fast Land Truck did a MPG vid of the 2016 eco F150 and got 8.5MPG not very good or even significant over the old raptor
https://youtu.be/lAkUKbUqqZM

so I like these test cause they are not very scientific and they do real world stuff like filling up and towing!

You do realize CAFE standards have nothing to do with real world driving or towing right? They only care what it does in a controlled environment on a dyno, simple as that.

First the Raptor is not really a towing vehicle, second I GUARANTEE you will crap your pants in comparing the ecoboost vs the 6.2. MASSIVE TQ down low makes the Ecoboost pull like a diesel compared to a V8 which has to rev to get it's power. That channel did a head to head test a couple years ago ecoboost vs Chevy vs Dodge V8's up a large hill and the V8's were struggling to stay at 65 and the ecoboost had was on cruise control and had to be pulled back as it easily went over the max for the test.
Go test drive a '16 ecoboost, even with the lower power output you'll still be amazed at how well it gets off the line and accelerates effortlessly.

You realize that the '15/16s ecoboosts with tune only run 12's, right?
This engine will be around 100HP more stock and with a tune on E85 another 75 to 100HP on top of that at least.
Expect low 12's out of the Raptor very quickly and over 600ft of TQ on tune only.

So tuned 2017 will be faster than a gen1 with blower? Saweet

Personally if I wanted to go fast on road i'd get a gt-r or gt3 instead of a gen2, to me any truck is still slow as balls..

The 2017 tune will have more TQ and more HP than a SC Gen 1, definitely and easily. Already Gen 1 ecoboosts out there doing that now.
You also won't have to spend $20K on SC, bottom end rebuild and fueling to make it happen. :)
Remember TQ is king with these big tires and I would expect close to 600 on a tune, the current Ecoboost is out of fuel down low so they are limited by that to produce more TQ even on bigger turbos. This new PFI/DI is a godsend to all of us.
As far as going fast I prefer my CTS-V, current build in progress goal is 1300WHP and high 8's. :)

I just watched a few runs people posted on youtube, for just a tune that is pretty impressive.
