Would somebody who knows what I'm talking about please snap a pic and post it? I've rounded mine and put two coats of black paint on it, so it won't show up as anything remarkable in a photo.

Yes, that's it. You can see that it extends along the length of the lower edge of the dash, but I think that the really dangerous part of it is in the foreground, the bright object at the upper left. It's right above the brake pedal. The one on my 2011 SCAB was as sharp as a knife.

Here's something I've been carrying with me in the truck for several years. I don't consider it strictly a truck tool because I think there ought to be one in every vehicle in America. What is it? A strap cutter, AKA seatbelt cutter. Here's a couple of examples:

If you Google "seat belt cutter" you can find a ton of these, some at very reasonable prices. I like this small design which fits on a keyring. It has the cutter and a window breaking tool also.
