I need all the bed space I can get. I'd never have enough room with the whole family and as pair in the bed. I'll just have to sacrifice a rim and drag myself up to firm ground.

Kirk know his stuff very well. Bought my suspension from him. I am running Deaver +3 with only 1 spare and nothing else in bed at present. Ride is very nice.

Ride with +3's is not bad at all. You'd be surprised how easy it is to get to 400lbs. 2 spares, fuel, jack and you're right around 300lbs easy. Now add a packed cooler and a storage tote with tools you're at 350-400lbs. You've also got to account for the weight of the bed rack itself which is probably going to be at least 80lbs. It all adds up quick!

If you ride +3 do you have to be mid perch on the front for the truck to look level? And is it a smooth ride when the bed is empty?

I run the XRD bed rack also. Love it and highly recommend it.4a7ary8y.jpg

I modified the spare carrier myself. XRD is coming out with a newer version very soon too.

Could it be this one? /chuckle

Hmm... something is wrong in this picture. You may or may not have a care package arrive some time in the next week or two.

I'm on mid perch. I originally went from mid perch on stock springs to mid on deavers +3. The ride was much improved IMO. I can't guarantee how you'll like it because everyones different. However, for me, mid perch plus deavers +3 rides much better than mid perch and stock springs even with an empty bed.

I went to +3 and King 3.0 at the same time so my perch setting isn't the same. I would say however mid would be necessary to be close to level. My springs haven't settled yet I am sure. Went from garage floor to fender lip height of 41.5" before to 45" after.

Have you ever seen someone use one of your racks with a bedrug?
