Here are some more pictures from the race this weekend.

The threw in a hard hairpin on the course this time. Tried 8 different lines on it, and killed at least one cone every time.

I had to retire the truck in the morning after both front shocks were found to be leaking fluid all over themselves.

More pics later, but here are a few.

Thanks to MRT Performance, Jack Demmer Ford, Freedom Motorsports, Designs N Signs, Hellwige Motorsports, G&P Racing, and KP Motorsports.

I was able to borrow an Eagle Talon for the afternoon, and was able to pick up about 10 seconds on the field and not place last. My co-driver was able to comeback and take 3rd driving a Subaru Wagon. Not bad for either of us, considering we were competing in the modified class with stock class cars.

Here are some more photos from the last race. These were taken at a hard left turn into a hairpin. This turn came after a straight, so heavy braking and heavy steering input. This is not anything new for the truck to have seen, but the front end has never sunk / rolled like that before, just more evidence that the front end is not happy and not putting the tires back on the dirt has fast as usual.

I will admit, the laps in the car were much easier to see the cones, you really have to see where the cones are ahead of you, and try to remember where they are as you go, because they fall out of your site to early.

This is advantageous to a point though, because driving a larger vehicle like this forces you to look a little farther down course, and translate that driving to a smaller vehicle later

Nice. I have a RallyX tomorrow. I definitely agree doing them with a SuperCrew is less than idea.

I actually kind of want to drop my truck and get a Scab instead. If/when the next Gen of Raptor is out I'll get a SuperCab instead for sure.

If I didn't have the kids to haul around Monday through Friday.... I would do the same thing.
