I'm on the gulf coast where it is flat as can be. Seems that the most offroading I will get will be on the beach at Padre Island or National Seashore. That being said, what's the best beach tire people have found? I've read AT's are best, and I'm not going to run paddles. Any ideas?

Just about any offroad tire should be good for you. Just remember to air down properly. Probably the absolute best would be a BFG Project tire, however they are terrible for daily driving. Another good one is the Toyo Open Country M/T.
