darn so 11/05 is the day 2012 Raptors can start being Born?

Randy, how much time prior does Ford usually assign a vin#? Anotherwords, once we get a Vin, is a production date already set, or is it usually X weeks away for the most part, etc.?

Unless Ford Changes the build cycle again??

4-5 weeks or so, is the normal time frame. I think I should start getting 2012 Raptor Vin's by the last week of Sept or the first week of Oct??
Then within about 1 week, I will see "Sch'ed to week of" 10/31, 11/7 or 11/14 ??

Fellas, I did it! I am no longer a prospective buyer, I am now a waiting owner. The dealership up here gave me a very surprising offer that, with the options I wanted, came out to just $310 over Randy's offer prior to shipping costs. Buddy, if I hear of anybody down south who is looking for something, I will definitely send them your way. And you never know, I'll be back in the CONUS in 2 years and may need whatever the next best thing is.

Now time to shift gears to mods...I'm thinking a tune and exhaust to start. Though, I'm open to recommendations. But that's a discussion for another thread I suppose.

are going to be a month or more away??

Thanks for all your info and advice, Randy. I just noticed that the 5th of November is a Saturday. Does Ford run shifts on the weekends?! Also, if they do start building Raptors that week, and if I happen to have a high enough priority to get in on that first build, would there be any way to request a specific date? It would be cool to have my Raptor have the same birthday as me on the 9th. Probably not possible, but curious. Thanks again.

Not my deal but I look forward to seeing the new green in the regular truck line and race red in metallic on the Raptor as it should be unique and look sharp ; not sure where that came from as I did not see it in the specs .
