Luxury package, tailgate step, bed extender, moon roof, graphics, color, etc. Anyone order them and wish they hadn't? Or not ordered something and wish they had? Which option and why?

2010: I ordered my truck with everything (6.2, Nav/sound, sun roof, step gate etc) minus the graphics and no regrets! I use my options almost daily. The tail gate step comes in real handy loading my mountain bikes, strongly recommend the DZ tail gate assist mod. The Nav/back up camera is a huge plus since moving to the city!

I don't regret not ordering the graphics. I'm not a huge fan and they ran $1,000 at that time.

While I understand that 801A is costly and thus one would save money by removing this option. But like everything in life, doing so has its consequences.

1 - If you ever try to sell it, there is a lower demand for Raptors without 801A
2 - and the obvious is that you will get less $ when trying to sell it.

Once you get your raptor you will realize that a Raptor is very luxurious and that you just deleted the one package that every buyer craves for in a luxury truck >> 801A

I have 801A and I am so happy I paid for it.

Understandable, but I bought it for me not for the next person who owns it. :)

I keep my vehicles a very long time. By the time I would sell it, it would be quite out of date Im sure. As far as interior features/electronics go.

True - but not as out of date as a vehicle that has nothing in it!

Since this thread has come back to life, and now I have my Raptor I can say I regret nothing - however the front camera could go and I wouldn't notice.
And funnily enough, when you drive people around for a ride - the thing they seem to talk about more than anything else is the blue accent interior. So many comments on how awesome it looks.

I regret the option of not ordering sooner. I'd have it now instead of more like July.

I feel the same way I wish I had placed my order at least 2 months earlier. I am going on 3 full months of waiting next week.

Regarding the 801A package, sure it is a good amount of cash but the options you get make it worth it IMO. In previous years I purchased lower trim vehicles and always regretted not having this or that, this time I went all the way with options. Only options I did not ordered were the interior blue accents and the beadlocks wheels, and that's because I did not need or wanted those options.
