How do I collect oil for analysis?

Dumb question: If I want to have my oil analyzed, how do I collect some without crawling under the truck and loosening the plug? Can I get some off the dipstick?

The best tool I have seen for obtaining a sample without getting under the truck is from AMSOIL. Check out their hand pump below. Their analysis kits (including TBN testing) are less expensive than blackstone labs as well. Check them both out below.
