What is this thing under rear of Gen 1 Raptor

Was making some undercarriage measurements for suspension upgrades and noticed this thing, one on each side. What is it?

Body frame mount bushing. Also acts as a vibration isolator.

it is considered impolite to talk about this subject. It makes the Raptors feel uncomfortable.

i had a rattle i was trying to diagnose and that thing was kind of loose so i pulled it off. Truck seems to be fine and the rattle is gone.
