Avoid using dish soap for washing. You should use a dedicated product like our Strip Wash, or you can also add about 3oz of Eco All Purpose Cleaner to about 4oz of Car Wash Shampoo in your Foam Cannon. The big reason to wash with Strip Wash instead of dish soap is "POLYMERS". That's the good stuff in Car Wash Shampoo and Strip Wash that make washing safer for your paint. The polymers are what encapsulate the dirt, which allows the dirt to be wiped from the paint with much less chance of scratching. Dish soap does not have these polymers to encapsulate the dirt. A dish soap's primary function is to cut grease.
