For some reason when I was driving this past weekend the front end kinda felt a lil sloppy. I've only got 2000mi on it and havent even taken it really off road yet except for a few trails here and there. Any suggestions? Anyone else having this problem.

Well I've beat the hell out of my truck in every type of wheeling possible. At 30k miles, I am starting to feel a little play in the steering, but nothing requiring repairs yet. I did bust something in the left front axle (BigJ posted a similar issue not too long ago) and my trucks in getting that fixed now.

I had my steering gear replaced at 35,000 miles because of all the play in the steering wheel. May be worth looking into.

For some reason I feel like its the ball joints but I'm going to have the steering gear box checked too.

Mine feels the same, kinda like the sway bar is disconnected.

Wasn't there a issue a while back about the top of the shock breaking near the threaded part ? Could that be a cause and how would you know if it was broke ?

It does feel like the sway bar is disconnected...all I know is it def doesn't feel right since we've got some nice ass fox shocks on this truck which should absorb everything we throw at it.

In a different thread, SOCO and Outlaw Raptor recommended to check the upper & lower control arm bolts. Don't remember the torque number.
