Anyone know where I can get a complete set of replacement letters? I have been able to find the F and R on eBay for the guys that buy the DOOD grilles... but a previous owner of my truck attempted painting the grill letters body color, although it may have looked good at one point, now it looks like ass... I'd like to avoid buying an entire new grill to get the letters if possible...worse case I suppose is I will have to sand and sand and sand...

Looks like you’re going to have to strip the paint and hope it comes out good.

I have stuff called citri strip (lowes, homedepot) itll take the paint right off… but since its on plastic i cant say it wont damage/stain the grill, so dont let it sit on it too long. If it does you can sand and repaint it whatever color.

Some here have repainted the entire grill i forget what color match they used. Worth a shot over buying a new one.

I put a set of carbon fiber letters on my black & blue raptor and they look great.Got them from American Truck...dont know if they still sell them, but good heavy duty, not a cheap decal overlay...been couple years, but think around $200..and worth it IMHO.

If your grille is pitted or peeling you'll need to pull it and refinish it. I did the same with mine a few years back and installed new letters.

The guy painted the entire letter. Top and sides. The vinyl overlays do nothing for that.

If you can get a replacement grille for a reasonable price, do it. You can sell yours on Ebay, someone will buy it.
