Hey all, new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2017 gen 2 raptor. The truck came equiped with deavers l84HD+3's. I must say even during the test drive, I noticed the stiffness. This was obvious on subtle roads or uneven surfaces. I didn't know what to think as I've never driven a gen 2 raptor previously. I just assumed the truck had a stiff ride. Truck is extra clean with low miles. The bed is mostly empty and the only thing I haul is a three passenger sea-doo. It does seem to ride better with a little weight as others have suggested. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with the original owner who's been very helpful. So helpful in fact he gave me the original leafs, and blocks. I ride mostly with the bed empty. The other day my 8 year old said, dad its bumpy back here. The original owner did have a good size boat, and explained the truck was his 2nd vehicle, which is why I'm assuming he went with the HD+3. I've Driven a few trucks during my time, and what I can compare it to is how a dually rides, or a lifted truck. I can't comment on the plus 2's non-hd variant. My opinion is on the +3HD's. Im considering reinstalling the original blocks and leafs. I'll make sure to reply back to this thread with my findings.
