[QUOTE="BogeyBoy82, post: 640209, member: 13491"] Back in my day I used to compete car audio. I won a lot of trophies and I destroyed a lot of ear drums (including my own). I grew very tired of bass but never lost my love for SQ. I'm 31 now but feel like an old man at times however, when I got my Raptor I knew the stock stereo sucked so bad it needed to go fast. What started as a simple setup ended up pretty complex but in the end looks like it doesn't exist at all. Not saying I'm the first to do a setup using the jack-well as a sub enclosure but I couldn't find anyone else that has tried it so I'm gonna stake claim lol. It doesn't rattle your teeth by anymeans but it has enough bass to think there is a 10" back there and has loads more bass than stock. Also frees up more floor space for the dogs. Need to put the grilles on still. Headunit - Factory Processor - JBL MS8 Front Stage - Focal 165KRX3 (3 Way components - Tweet in a-pillar, 3" midrange behind custom grilles mounted in door, 6.5" midbass in factory door speaker location) - Bi-Amped using 4 Channel. Rear Stage - Focal 165KRC (coaxial 6.5 in rear door) Subs - 2 JL 6w3 in custom fiberglass enclosure in rear jack well Amps - 2 JL 600/4 HD - 1 amp used for front stage (bi amped) and 1 amp for rear speakers and subs. Sound Deadening - Whole truck gutted, Every inch covered. Radar/Laser - ****** 9500ci with new Max Radar system. Display mounted right up by gauges, fits perfect and gives a nice digital speedo readout All installation done by RockstarDesigns in Houston Texas. Rocky Rico is the man with an attention to detail I've trusted for over a decade. Sounds incredible.
