Update I retrieved the truck from the dealer on Tuesday and have logged 200 miles since. The engine bay hissing is fixed thus far. Oil leak is fixed thus far. No DTCs/CELs thus far. Truck performing and driving normally. Basic summary (with the limited information that I have right now), the dealer performed oil leak diag. on the truck and, as a result, replaced the pass. valve cover gasket. They also replaced all one time use items required for disassembly/reassembly intake manifold. Also, both PCV tubes and PCV sensor replaced. I have not sat down with them to get an in depth step by step of what was actually done to the truck, but I'm going to. I did speak with them briefly before taking the truck and couldn't get a straight answer as to whether or not a "smoking gun" was identified for the engine bay hissing sound. Could have been the valve cover gasket issue, but I'm not sure there is enough blow by to cause the particular hissing sound. Very well could have been something fouled up in the intake manifold assembly post original cam phaser job or something else regarding intake system. Could have been something fouled up with PCV system. Dealer couldn't tell me. Will let you know if I gather any other information from dealer when I talk to them early next week on follow up meeting. Thanks
