My convoluted Raptor story

Oh it does it justice alright. That is insane. Seems like Ford is having a huge QC problem lately. No way I would except that on a 70K vehicle.

The video was from my 2015 Platinum, not my Raptor. Sorry for the confusion. If that was my Raptor, Holy Sheeet would there have been a problem lol.

I picked my truck up last week. Dealer said it came off the truck with 90 miles on it and a empty gas tank. They put 4 miles on it to go get gas and PDI and I took delivery. After waiting almost 6 months, 90 miles was not going to stop me from buying this truck.

How was the Pdi? Any scratches or swirls in the paint? I asked the dealer to not wash mine for that very reason.

My dealer took the computer out of transportation mode, filled the gas tank and that was it. I told them I didn't want them to do anything else to the truck. They left it dirty and didn't even put the dealership sticker on the truck.

Here is some pics of the rear end after painting and application of the Amsoil MPHD. Also the bumper and diff seal repair. And of course, my son posing with the new truck. He is pretty certain that its going to be his one day, I told him to not hold his breath lol. It goes in for the ceramic nano coating tomm.

Amazing ...so much for Ford Service talk of all the quality control causing delays. QC must have been on vacation. Glad you took it so well and handled the rust yourself and get to enjoy your new truck now.
