At SPV Parts, we like to come up with solutions for adding and enhancing vehicles in a clean and OEM like way.

We have shown many solutions here and we continue to expand and add to those solutions for clean and easy modifications that ANYONE can do.

That said, I want to show some of the switch wire solutions that are available and how they can be utilized. We have some videos here that illustrate installation in several different ways.

First, lets watch the video on the pass through locations. Then we can talk about adding connectors. So if you ever add any of our kits or harnesses, its as simple as plugging them in. In addition, the additional pass through connectors allow interconnection of various passthroughs to switch wires and each other throughout the vehicle. In this video, it simply covers the add on connectors and pins. We later produced a second option with extension wires with the connectors and pins already installed. These extensions also are numbered. The switch wires are numbered 1-6 and the pass throughs P1-P6. This helps easily identify wires so you don't always need to get out the manual. Those will be shown in the second video.

This next video Covers the difference in installing the pins, pig tails or extensions and the differences in detail-

Now, installing the pins requires a Weather Pack style crimp tool.
We don't sell those, but I have tried both of these out and for a cheap generic tool, they are GREAT!

Here is a tool for the pins-

Cheaper one, you crimp twice with-

ALL IN ONE tool-

For the pig tails and extensions, they have a butt connector (metal tube) you insert the wire into and simply smash with a tool like the link below. Very simple and fool proof. From there, the insulation is heat shrinkable so you can use a mini heat gun or torch (BE CAREFUL WITH A TORCH AND SURROUNDINGS) to shrink and seal it down.
