Hey, has anyone rebuilt the Gen 2 live valve front shocks/strut? Having a hard time trying to figure out how to get the IFP out to replace seals. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

hi, can you share some pictures and instructions on to proceed. im planning on rebuilding mineHey guys, sorry for the late response. I did get these live valve shocks rebuilt and are working great! Unfortunately I didn’t take many pictures of the process as we were needing to get the truck back on the road. Main thing that will be needed is a DC power supply variable, so you can power up the valve itself when filling and bleeding the shock. You want about 5-7 volts and I believe around 2-3 amps to open the valve. Other than that it’s pretty much the same process as the gen 2 shocks.
Edit:
There is a special socket you’ll need to get to remove the live valve. RPG sells them
