It's not very common. Most people do swap wheels for a lower offset. However if you choose to run spacers I would only purchase from BORA. Their spacer/adapters are best quality you can get. Just make sure you get hub centric.
Yeah I’m very familiar with Bora. I’m sure at some point I’ll play it safe and do wheels like I always do.

Does anyone have the 17x8 ET25 offering from Method?
Curious to see how these would look. My guess is more tire bulge and less concave.
You mean 17x8 or 8.5? I probably wouldn't run the MR316 in the 17x8 +25. 8" is getting a little skinny for a 315 or 12.50 IMO. The wheels are pretty flat faced. MR703 +25 below

@Pacific Wheel, can I get a quote and availability on fuel rebel 6 17x9, +1 in bronze, and same for rebel clash, same size/offset in matte black/dark tint? Appreciate it!
