I was wondering if there is any advantage to upgrading to Ford Racing's Skid plate?

It had 3 extra ribs (and some logo work) to resist bending.

Any pics of the skid plate?
How much is it?

The FRP Skid lists @ $545 or there abouts. The wierd thing is that the stock Raptor skid lists at about $850!!!!! WTF. I'll get some pics when the one I have on order arrives.

I had to hack the crap out of mine when making my stock hooks fit again (with the Aries bar). If mine dies, I think I'll look into fabbing up a steel replacement. Doesn't look too complicated.

It's much heavier than the stock one, also it comes up about 2" on the side where the stock when looking at the truck from the side seems a bit thin.

Not worth the price of the upgrade as far as looks go. I had mine line X'd
