Let me dissect this, please check your paperwork and let me know how I did. $74,000 MSRP $8,000 accessories $4320 Sales tax on $48K at 9% $1100 AZ License tax $500 Dealer doc fee $5,999 extended warranty $8,999 maintenance plan -$36,000 Trade -$9,500 Down payment $57,418 out the door. At 4% for 84 months this would be a $785 monthly payment. To get to your $838 monthly payment the rate would have to be 5.98%. With this rate you’re going to pay another $13K in interest over the life of the loan. Drop the warranty and maintenance plans and refinance the truck through another lender at under 4%. Your loan should be around $42,420 and at 3.8% your 72 month payment should be $660. This would get your total interest paid down to just over $5K. At the 2.29% Navy Federal is offering your payment could be $631 if you qualify for membership. My old man was in the Navy, so I have access to USAA and Navy Federal. The other concern I have for you is are those 37’s going to rub when you try to use the Raptor offroad. If they installed a RPG collar on the shock, left the rear stock, and those Methods are 0 offset, I see bad things happening at full compression. I don’t know what the dealer’s liability may be for that damage, or if they have any at all. You should probably stop by SDHQ and ask those guys to check the setup and see what they think. You may end up needing different coils and Deaver +3 springs to run those tires safely, even then the 0 offset wheels may still cause it to rub.
