Almost have the front stage finished with the 3way focals. Tomorrow I plan on finishing up the crossover and amp layout.

I also found out the the overhead “speaker” in the headliner is actually a cheap stock tweeter and not any type of mid woofer.

I had read that to remove tweeter the liner had to come down to gain access, but that isn’t true. The brushed aluminum cover pops right off and you get full acess to all screws.

I used a t8 torq to remove the tweeter and I’m currently working on a custom abs holder for the larger focal

The new mids were a tight fit. The OEM plug for these require the older 10th Gen speaker adapter. I plan to go active later on, so I ran my own wiring and capped off the factory connection.

I did have to trim out some of the plastic and make a custom mount. I don’t have a 3d printer or CNC machine, so in just did these by hand. (Stil need to do some sealing around the speakers).

Subs finally came in. Hope to have this all together by the weekend.

Finally got the amp rack built. Should have just bought one, but I’m a little impatient. Will get the amps wired up tomorrow.
