I got a stubby antenna recently too. It looks great! I was tired of hitting trees on the trail with the stock antenna.

Don't those stubby antennas suck for reception? I have an OEM retractable one on my Classic Bronco and when it is extended it is Sky High, looks Cool!

Depends. If your in the city, you won't be able to notice a difference. If your out away from the city a good ways, reception will suffer some. There have been a few people crack their windshields because of the factory whip antenna when offroading.
