color matching vents

I will be painting my fender flares and stock wheels black (to match the hood/side vents and grill. The stormtrooper look is a no-brainer with a white Raptor.

i had my SVT fender vents color matched tuxedo black but it didn't look as good as i thought it would so i painted them matte black. sorry i don't have any pictures.

That's what I was thinking about doing...soon.

Removing the side vents is easy. Just use a skinny putty knife wrapped in duct tape so it won't scratch ... and slide it under the vent on the side closest to the doors. Gently pry outwards and the 2 clips will pop out.

for the hood vents you're going to need a hammer, a torch, a young priest and an old priest.

I will be painting my fender flares and stock wheels black.

My plasti-dip'd wheels just went through the auto wash (with brushes) for the 3rd time and still look perfect. If you want a quick/easy/cheap way to black out the factory wheels, this is it! The best part is, if you decide to go back to stock, you just peel it off like a sticker!
