It would come down to personal preference. These will be pretty heavy so weight might be more of a concern than physical size. If they are mounted on the A-Pillars you'll be blocking some visibility out the windshield.

I wanted to post up as there was another thread regarding 2018 upfitter wires. We just had a 2018 in the shop a couple of minutes ago.
The colors have changed but for some reason the 2018 Owners manual has 2017 Colors. Our engineering team confirmed the following:

2017 Colors:
Aux 1 – Green/Blue - 15A
Aux 2 - Gray/Yellow - 15A
Aux 3 - Violet/Orange - 10A
Aux 4 - Brown/Blue - 10A
Aux 5 - Gray/Orange - 5A
Aux 6 - Yellow/Violet - 5A

2018 Colors
Aux 1 - Green/White - 15A
Aux 2 - Brown/Blue - 15A
Aux 3 - Gray/Yellow - 10A
Aux 4 - Green/Yellow - 10A
Aux 5 - Brown/White - 5A
Aux 6 - Green/Orange - 5A


Sorry about any confusion. These circuits are all active when the truck is running and the switches are ON.

Nice. Can you show what you have there? I don't recognize that product. I plan to install the flush mount S2 sports in the same location.

It's the S2 pro (normal, not flush mount one) behind some clear diffused lenses integrated into the bumper - you can see the white ones, they are just turned off for the picture (way too bright)

This looks great. Are you running 2 separate S2s red/white per side? Also, did you do the bumper cuts yourself?

Thanks, love how it turned out ... was taking off the bumper anyway to get all trim coated in line x so was a good time to have the shop fab the design

1 red on left and 2 whites, one on each side
