Did they not use the upgraded phasers on the first fix? I just had mine done...all phases being done now should have the revised parts...which should not fail (at least in theory)

Got the truck back yesterday and it purs. hoping she holds up for the long haul now!! Also did: perf plugs/wires Trans flush Front/read Diff fluid Belts injector/fuel system flush Shout out to Garnet Ford if anyone's on here. Great experience.

Mines in for Phasers as well... I'm also doing plugs, belts, coolant flush, fuel/injector service and because I have 55k I'm doing trans and diff flush

I think that was for vehicles over the 60k powertrain. Mine is still under factory warranty so it's covered. And yeah, the plug price seems inflated. I used to do plugs on my Honda 4 bangers back in the day, but don't wanna risk a broken or stuck plug :D Plenty of other projects I'll take...

Ok - There are no open recalls on the vehicle. That is software only update, correct? And if that is performed BEFORE the issue starts, it should prevent it completely (with-in reason)?
