Stock BFGs on some SVT beadlocks I got off craiglist. But, painted the rings blue flame metallic to match the truck and they look wholly awesome. Especially so in person because I apparently can't take awesome truck pics like everyone else on this thread. lol
Wow. I'm kicking myself that I haven't heard about you guys sooner. Just had some work done on my Raptor with another accessory shop here in Lubbock, and dealing with them was a complete mess from day one. So glad to hear theres some other, more reputable options for Raptor parts here...
Alrighty. Thats what I thought, but was hoping that wasn't the case. Lots of wishful thinking going on because all I've found so far were supercrew. lol
So I'm sure this has been asked already, but I can't find a thread answering it......will the seat covers for the back seat of a supercrew fit the seats in a supercab? Been watching on Ebay and on the garage sale here for some blue accent covers to put on my Raptor and not sure if it matters...
I was doing everything via phone and e-mail so all I had was a signed credit app, and later a deposit. So....again, feel like thats enough to vouch for my interest, but at this point I'm really just kinda done with both those dealerships. Jumped through enough hoops, and haven't really gotten...
Yeah, I prefer Roush over Hennesey. And I'm just flabbergasted at the level of unprofessionalism at these dealers. I really just can't fathom that approved credit and a deposit aren't enough to show I'm serious about buying their truck.
Yeah, I know he's going to be there. I was supposed to pick up my Raptor that day so I could get it signed and pick it up without making two trips before they sold mine out from under me.
I actually sent an e-mail to Roush Performance about the situation and they reached out to the...
So......New wrinkle in the plan is that the dealer I was working with sold the Raptor I wanted out from under me. We had a deal in place, I submitted my credit app and was approved, and the salesman claims that he put up the keys and marked it "sold" in the computer. But somebody still sold it...
Thanks for all the information. Got a decent trade-in offer (finally) so think I'm about to pull the trigger on a Roush. Will post my impressions of it once I finalize the deal and get to spend a little bit with the truck.
Are you looking for a Roush or a regular Raptor? I went to Rogers Ford in Midland yesterday and they had at least 7 Roush Raptors and probably 20+ Roush Stage Three Mustangs. Was a ridiculous amount of Roush equipment on that lot.
Well my biggest problem with the sales people I dealt with was that they were completely unable to tell me anything. lol Like they acted baffled by all my questions until I was able to get ahold of a manager.
I will definitely look into that. Thanks for all the answers. Already you guys have been infinitely more help than the Roush Dealer I've been talking to. lol
Ok. So a couple people have mentioned warranties differing from my understanding of what the Roush warranty was. After I spoke with the Roush dealer closest to me, I thought the supercharger and whatnot was covered by a 3 year/36k warranty while everything else is covered under the standard Ford...
Thanks for all the feedback so far. Sounds like the Roush is worth it is the general consensus. Now if I can just hurry and sell my current Raptor, so I can have a downpayment for the Roush....
I'll be cognizant of that belt issue moving forward. Stuff like that is kinda why I'm hesitant to buy a supercharged one....I've never really felt I needed more power in a Raptor and the logical part of me just sees it as an extra $15K for the privilege of a higher possibility of repair bills...
So I've got the bug and have decided to move on from my 2010 Raptor to a brand new 2014 with more options and all the fancy-pants stuff mine doesn't have. But....thinking that maybe I waited too long since Raptor selection seems pretty slim at dealerships around Lubbock and I'm having issues...
Looking to sell my current Raptor to put towards a 2014 (Maybe Roush?) Raptor, and trying to sell private party first to avoid being ripped off too badly by the dealership on trade-in. lol
Its a 2010 model. 6.2L motor with 64,500 miles. Blue flame metallic with digital mud. Sunroof, bedliner...
