I'm running 35" Toyo's on 20" Fuel Hostages with them and no rubbing. I did the black on black Raptor logo to keep it subtle and have had them on for a couple years. Still look like new.
I have this same one and thought the same for the first while but then it began to wear on me, especially on small steady inclines like coming out of downtown Denver heading for the foothills. Drove me nuts so I eventually had the factory resonator put back in and it made a huge difference...
I'd paint it with a cloaking paint so you can't see it. Raptor's shouldn't have topper's but that's just my opinion. If you gotta have it I'd say leave it charcoal and save some $'s. It does match the flares well. Maybe some cool graphics?
Probably the gray styrofoam around the hood hinge under the hood. Spray it down with silicon spray or WD40 and wipe it down. I know, sounds strange but the noise translates into the cab. Many have had this same issue. Repeat every 6-12 months.
Just like Roadkill noted above. I used Tuxedo Black paint on the bezel to match the truck color though. I debated painting the bezel the same color as the f150 and Raptor badges but the color was too hard to match and they don't actually match the rest of the grey on the truck anyways. I'm...
I installed diodes initially so the marker light would be dimmer than when blinking but then the marker wasn't bright enough compared to the other marker lights. In the end I just made the Recon LED a marker light and didn't bother with having it blink when signalling. There's no need to have...
I ran marker light power to my Recon LED blacked out mirror reflectors. I ran a wire from the marker light wire found in the door sill panel so they come on with the rest of the marker lights. It wasn't easy as you can not just simply run a wire into the door from the cab due to the connector...
Ford should have never put that piece of chrome on the truck to start with!! It's like they ran out of time after making the F150 and Raptor SVT logos for the tail gate and just stuck on a regular oval.
Painted the bezel to match the truck color and popped on a new billet badge.
That looks much better, especially in white! Do you mind letting us know what they charged you to paint all those parts?
Looks like you missed the tailgate handle?
I had the MBRP resonator on when I first installed it. I just couldn't get used to the drone so I had a local specialty muffler shop cut the MBRP resonator off and weld in the factory resonator. They didn't even use a tapered fitting, they placed the factory resonator inside the MBRP pipe and...
I put the factory resonator back on my MRBP Black Catback. Took away most of the drone and still far better sounding than the factory setup. Only problem now is the black is all coming off and looks like a rusty old piece of shit. They've now replaced the tip three times as the black coating...
I live in Colorado and pull a 7500lb travel trailer in the mountains with mine. I use a weight distributing hitch, Hellwig helper springs and installed the SDHQ transmission cooler. Truck sits level and pulls like a charm!
