My 24’ R has an April 3 build date Had a 23’ show up but passed due to the better shocks on the 24’ MSRP in Toronto Canada, have paid MSRP for all 5 of my raptors since 2013 and the R is as well - maybe different in the USA

All fixed and covered under warranty, zero issues.

Sucks about your super duty, but almost none of the major issues with my Gen1 were related to quality control issues. The only issue related to that was a climate control module which was under warranty. Mine were due to parts that couldn’t handle the abuse level I required to use the truck...

I blew my Gen 1 rear diff up, power steering pump, all 4 shocks and also snapped a rear leaf spring + several broken IWEs. Also had the climate control ecu fail and other electrical issues. My 2013 was my least reliable raptor.

I use my trucks hard, gen 1 - both gen 2 and the gen 3 have all had some form of failure so far. My 2017 was the most reliable - the 2019 had issues.

Good find - that’s exactly my issue. Looks like a design flaw where the load is distributed through the case - surprised ford hasn’t fixed it.

It is covered no issue and my dealer knows it was off road.

They just pulled the diff today and said I’ll have updates Monday. They said it’s likely a casting flaw in the part when the aluminum was poured into the tool as it shouldn’t of failed especially while under such low load (wet grass hill) All under warranty no issue so far

Mine is garbage as well - very disappointing ford really cheaped out on that camera sensor quality.

I got mine on 37s with no haggling at msrp

Driving up a wet grass hill in 4 low when the front diff housing casing split - made a hell of a noise too 21 w/ 37 package and 6k - Impressive! This is my 4th raptor and I can assure you all the other ones worked much harder before failure.

Anyone who buys a raptor and wants it to be fast on road is a kook - you bought the wrong vehicle.

I paid msrp for my 37 raptor that’s absurd - don’t even play games with that guy

Never needed more power blasting fire roads in my gen 2 - what the truck was designed for - I guess if you drive around town and wanna just look cool it’s a better option to go with the TRX
