Correct. Those are for the back lighting. I have the S8 back light turning on with the parking lights, and the LP4s on uplifter switch 5. Didn't want them all on all the time.

About the same as without the turn downs. Louder than before I cut the tips off last yeqr.

Anything is possible. Do you have an extended warranty? Tech also could have messed up.

The S8 load (giggity) will blow (double giggity) the fuse. You wire the uplifter switch to power on the relay which will turn on the light. The light in turn would need to be connected to the battery. Or get a switch-pro. There are a few threads that describe the way to wire the relay and...

Maybe trade for factory unwrapped flares.

20" back from the front of the bed for the back cut. 8" back from the front. 3" from the wheel well. Give yourself some space around the bypass rack. Call SVC. I believe they can give you better measurements.
