Not sure about the Nitrogen vs air but I do know as an F-16 Fighter crew chief in the Air Force all landing gear tires had nitrogen in them. If it's good enough for an F-16 I'm sure it's good enuf for my Raptor. I think it's a matter of being able to get nitrogen easily where you live.
