Honestly he can do wantever he wants his truck but it is a absolute fact that it changes the geometry and takes away from the performance of the truck. Just out here trying to save another raptor doing gods work Lol.
It takes away from everything the raptor is. Lift kits are trash and weaken everything about the suspension. You just don’t do it. I’m sure the boys will chime in soon. See my truck below. Glass and springs is the correct way to fit 37’s.
I talked to SVC and icon. They both said the stock gen 2’s are designed to be maxed and hold
The weight of the axle. I got to say the SVC guys know their stuff
Okay guys this was too good and works too good not to share. First here is the set up.
SVC bumps
Gen 2 3.0’s
Icons leafs setting 2
Camburg 1.5 shackles
Custom shock mount
Brake line drop bracket
So out of that the bump kit was the most but the truck works so good. The Shocks must be moved...
Okay guys looking to upgrade and add a cooler and reservoir. The cooler I can use anything small but wanting some input on the reservoir below. Looks like a good option. Also was wondering how to plumb the cooler in...
The way I did it which is the bro way was to take the shock guard off and put grease on the shaft. Then I sent her off a jump. Found I only had 1/4 inch to play with on the stock springs and decide to move them.
If you don’t have a bump kit that gives you extra travel the shocks work fine. You can always take more down travel but in my research and talking to svc they said up travel is more important.
