Nice Land Rover - love the exo-cage on it :-) I've got the AutoHome Columbus on the Raptor - similar to the Maggiolina but opens in a wedge shape on gas shocks instead of the crank handle with the flat roof. I went for the Carbon Fibre option to keep the weight down and then got a bit carried...

Been thinking about that too... need some kind of elasticated cord so the camera isn't jerked around as the truck bounces... and I think a parachute would be better than a kite - more stable and the camera would come back down gradually - and hopefully hit the ground with the force that a GoPro...

She went accross the scales today fully stripped down - as the rack is now off for some finishing touches and powder coating. Note: Stripped down is still adding the Ford Racing Beadlock Trim Rings and the Warn 9.5 XPS on a hidden mount in the front. Full tank of gas. 2,900 kg = 6,393...

What did I do today? Packed up all of this and put it back in the truck and came home :) Yesterday we went camping with the in-laws - hence the guest bedroom over to the right :)

The whole cage structure is coming off on Saturday for some finish work and powder coating - so I'll run it through the scales naked to see what it's got. Meanwhile - picture from this morning :) Everything but the kitchen sink :)

Just done a trip to the weighing scale. Sent RPG my weights so they can recommend what's best with their Stage 3 Kit. total weight = 7,785 lbs weight on the front axle only = 3,571 lbs weight on the rear axle only = 4,258 lbs Converted from KG, and the Total doesn't match the two combined...

I love the fat-tire bikes... planning to pick up two and have 'em painted to match the Raptor... just... in the mean time spending money on the Raptor instead :)

Our highways in Dubai area actually very smooth. Compared to highways I've driven in the states and other parts of the world - it's race-track smooth. Sometimes a few small bumps but no expansion gaps or joins.

Anyone managed to solve the rear end bouncing / wobbling at highway speeds? Around about 60-70 mph while cruising - sometimes the rear of the truck just starts getting into this oscillating rythm bouncing up and down. If I step on the gas more - it goes away. Also if I hold the same speed but...

It does come with a ladder - although I had to specify that it was going on an SUV to get the longer telescopic ladder. They have a smaller one for sedans / station wagons. I didn't actually use it last weekend - with a large number of people that I didn't know all camping in the same area -...

Late 13s are definitely different... My oil cooler for example has 9 rows instead of 4.

There are differences. Bigger Oil Cooler is one you can see, and I believe the radiator is bigger also.

That is PERFECT. Had looked at the diagonal ones that go from the upper corners of the bed to the body-mount bolts and wasn't so keen on losing the open access there. This is a much better solution! Thanks for posting it!
