they dont know how many Raptors they are getting this year. Mine doesnt. Hes getting 4 now, doesnt know when next allocation will be. Unless they got penalized like you said
These color choices suck nuts. Youd think for the top end of the vehicle market theyd give us something that makes it feel worth it. Boring as ****. I shouldnt have to have a color "grow" on me for 80k
Theres a red 2024 on the lot near me they said they were dropping the price 1k under msrp on thursday. 802 package i think
edit: I lied, its a red 2023 with 9 miles
Anyone see this possibly good possibly hideous color in person yet? In some pics it looks brown and some pics it looks somewhat military green but not quite.
Im in line for one of the next ones (allocations) and the dealer told me if I hated it I could pass on it and order another one. Pretty...
Could feel the instant loss of power after getting nittos and method nvs. 7 lbs heavier per wheel. Went mid perch 2 days later. Going to have to learn the ride all over, cant feel as much on mid perch for sure
Went with nitto ridge. I can only read so many reviews saying the exact opposite of each other before I finally just buy something. Ive had no tread for 2 winters so it will be better. Looks a hell of a lot better too.
Cant believe you think they are loud. I feel like im driving in a cadillac...
Not sure why I dont like the look. I know they are probably the best for function for what I need with a decent look. I was looking into the 2022 but I may just keep this one after seeing how the body has changed for the worse over the years. And just keep replacing parts, engines, and whatever...
tried all weekend to beat discount tires for wheels and rims and the best i could find is $50 for a whole lot of hassle and shipping to my house. 2 companies, etc. These go right to their shop with an appt. Thanks for the info everyone.
I found method 703s that are NVs without the bead ring have a 25mm offset. Just didnt like them over the NVs at the end of the day. Decided I would go mid perch and alignment route which i could probably use anyway after 7 years and looking at the wear on my current original STOCK tires. If I...
Dirt old thread but was looking for pics. Built my raptor in 2014, plasti dipped the wheels to see the look, making it temporary until i felt like dishing out the money. Its been 7 years now and all 4 wheels still look good. Never powerwashed them and only a few spots are starting to fail...
If you see this this weekend can you post a side shot of the 703s? Thanks. Really debating these or the method nvs. Only reason not to do nvs for me is the offset and bigger tires. (a full truck side profile)
about $300 higher price to go to the 18 set up for wheels and tires. not sure on the gain or loss in weight of the 2 combos. Negligible daily but adds up over time
maybe the extra 1/2" width of the 18 wont matter because the tire is the same. So 18mm offset and around 3/4 difference on the 18s and 1.5 inches on the 17s
Have mud flaps.
so my options are 17" wheel 0 offset
18" wheel that is 1/2" wider and an 18mm offset (or 0 if chosen), but probably fits like 12mm offset after width adjustment
No 18mm offset for the 17s
18mm is .7 inches.
going from 34mm back to 0 is almost 1.5 inches inward correct? guess i will be making 6...
2014 Scab
Stock everything. Not looking to mod anything for a wheel change-
Want 35x12.5x17 and method NVs. Curious about the rubbing
If necessary, method NV in an 18 has a 18 mm offset. But is 9 inches wide instead of 8.5, like the 17 inch version. So not sure if that is a wash
Ill go with the Nitto Ridge I think (not just off your comment but I've been searching blogs for a week now, guess I got onto the right one finally that said ice and rain are fairly good to go for them. going from 34mm offset stock wheel to 0mm offset method d. standard going to be a huge issue...
