I went with the matte finish because I think it's a little more subtle. I like the look and think they're nice quality. I havent seen the gloss version in person.
I've been quoted right around $600 from a couple places. If you have a live shock 19-20 maybe find a shop that can do the ride height adjustment also. It will save you the extra cost at a different shop or the dealership.
Thanks for the info, yeah I've watched a video or 2 on it. Looks pretty strait forward hopefully make some time for the install soon. I'll have to test out the light output and upgrade if needed. Lol.
Yeah it is confusing. I didn't go with the track style one. I just bought 3 of these simple ball mounts.

Looks good! I have the SDHQ mounts in my garage waiting for me to install. I went with the Squadrons though. Hope I don't regret not going with the XL80s.
On my previous trucks I always do my own but I took mine to ford for the first change. That way they could just do an multipoint inspection. If you search the forum you'll find a ton of good info and tips on doing it your self.
If you do it yourself and plan to keep doing it I recommend you...
I've had the Builtright mount with 67 designs cf arms and cell phone mount in my last 2 trucks. They have been great, and how the phone quickly clips on and off is nice.
