Thanks for the robust clarification.
I am confused/curious on your claim of "bump stop doesnt absorb energy"? Isnt the whole point of the bump stop to not slap the axle/diff to the frame?
Again, i have had the truck for 2 years and aware of the physics and interia movement of the truck jumping...
Thanks Rick and everyone for the clarification.
What is the best bump stop to get on my Gen 2 that is budget friendly. Dont want something that is overkill but just want to protect the frame. RPG?
Also not looking for ones that damage the beds of the frame over time like some bump stops do.
Thats crazy that the frame bend on the Gen 1.
Only thing stopping me from getting bump stops is any dealer trying to void my warrantt for suspension work. I have heard dealers will not honor any suspension warranty work if they see bump stops. Is that true?
Also, for my type of driving i think...
Agreed. This vehicle is still expensive if things break, so would still like to maintain a warranty.
For my driving, ill stick to the stock bump pads as i currently have only 20% or less offroad miles on the truck and mostly all have been at a grommed track
Interesting, the reason i havent put any heavy mods is because i will be purchasing the extended warranty and dont want to void it by getting bump stops in case if any suspension components break from offroading. Would they void warranty on bump stops?
Hi everyone,
I have had my 19 Gen 2 for a while and starting to get more and more into the offroad scene, i have jumped my truck and pushed it to what i believe its limit (Baby Jumps).
i wanted to ask, how durable are these Gen 2 frame? Does anyone have any specific details of what areas the...

How sure are you about the part number. Ya the price seems a bit excessive especially for a beauty ring. I might just call some wheel repair shops and see if they can fix the beauty ring. Should be fixable

No those arent it. Those are the bead ring (ones for offroading). The ones I need is the 2019 beadlock beauty rings. I'll post it below

Wait, your spare tire came with a beadlock rings?? Huh? Mine didnt
Ya I scratched more than one. Luckily it's just two rings.

Looking for some Gen 2 Beadlock beauty rings for sale? I got some curb rash and damage on mine when I went rock crawling.
I tried to find some online but they are all showing the 2018 beadlocks and not the 2019-2020. Any links available?
Also, does anyone think any wheel shops can repair...
Hey. So far dealer is diagnosing the issue still. They will let me know hopefully sometime tommorow. I will keep you updated.

Ya it sucks man. I wish they would buy it back. I have lemon law as my backup tbh. Ideally its ford call but once it meets lemon law they have to buy it back.

Ohh damn. Please tell me you didnt have anymore issues after the new engine was replaced for your 2019. Also, was the dealer competent enough to take a engine out and replace it? Did ford customer care give you a free 10/100k warranty with it.

Right. They defintelt are not focusing on quality assurance at all. If I would guess, outside of warranty it would probably cost 10-20k. Considering crate engine is around 10k just itself and the labor required after that.

Well to be fair, the 6.2 is technically bulletproof. My friend has a gen 1 and has has little to no issues. Many Gen 1 owners have had somewhat issues like (fuse issues, IWE, etc) but overall the 6.2 was literally a bulletproof engine. Ya the turbos suck on ecoturd engine and tbh, they are...
Trust me. If I had a 6.2 I wouldnt be having these issues. I'm unfortunately stuck until buyback is needed and approved by Ford :/
