I'm still waiting for the New England weather to get cold to verify the 9th drivers side light actually corrected the problem. the truck and lights have worked all summer long. BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!!!!
Update I received a call from the dealership after ordering several lights and freezing them they found a good one. They replaced it today and it works in the warm weather I guess I’ll have to wait till November to see if it’s really fixed. I would like to give kudos to Quirk Ford in Quincy MA...
Update I am still waiting for Ford to provide a good left tail light for my truck they are testing the lights by putting them in the freezer and then installing them in a stock unit. They still don’t have one that works when cold. I’m not sure where the quality control went on the parts supply...
I verified the voltage at the rear connector with a meter the truck works fine. They are putting new replacement lights in the freezer and they are failing. The problem is with the light.
The dealer has verified that they have two more truck with the same problem and another truck that has been purchased. I agree with the cheap Chinese parts theory.
The problem is with either the turn signal or the hazard switch. The light has a large amber rectangular turn signal separate from the brake light. I have video on my phone but I don’t know how to post them.
All I can tell you is that the lights work fine in the warm weather and the left one stops working when the temperature goes below freezing. The third replacement light works on the passenger side and they are still trying to get a good one for the drivers side. I am sure nothing else is wrong...
The driver’s side light still flashes half as fast as the passengers side when the outside temperature drops below freezing. The dealer put the newest light in the freezer overnight before testing it and it failed. The service manager also told me both Raptors on the lot do the same thing so any...
Update Ford came to my shop with a third set of tail lights that work so far I will know for sure once they get cold. I’m heading back to VT and the temperature is supposed to drop below zero if they work problem solved.
Update Ford replaces both tail lights again and today in VT at -6 degrees the right light works and the left one flashes at half speed so it looks like there are some lights out there with high resistance.
The rear lights flash slower than the front lights and the indicator on the cluster. It is also temperature sensitive the problem gets worse in the cold weather the lights are sealed LED and are not serviceable.
Hi I am a new raptor owner and new to the forum. My 2019 raptor has an interesting issue I wonder if anyone else has had this issue. In the cold weather the rear turn signals flash half as fast as the front. I brought the truck back to the dealership it is currently waiting for an answer from...
