Electrical gremlins are sometimes very tough to diagnose. Keep taking it back to the dealership. If you have a capable Ford Tech, he'll figure it out with the help of the Ford system and support. I had a 2017 F350 that was bought back due gremlins that they couldn't find. They even sent two...
I don't know if this is related or not, however, I started having weird electrical gremlins with my 2022 with 18K miles about a month ago. I checked the battery voltage after driving and it was at 12.1-12.2 volts with the engine off. (Should be at least 12.6) I took it to the dealership...
They don't understand as they haven't lived it. I'm a disabled Trooper and the nightmares still happen, but not as much anymore. I'm sure you understand.
A 35 year body shop tech (for Ford) taught me to use aluminum wheel cleaner with OOOO steel wool. The steel wool does not damage the glass at all. The glass looks like new. The acid in the cleaner dissolves the stains easily. Vinegar is also a very good cleaner as its acidic. When you buy...
I live 7 miles from the dealership where this Raptor is at in Keyser WV. (Timbrook Ford) I stopped a couple of days ago and looked at it. FWIW, I've bought many trucks along with two Raptors from them in the past. You will not be disappointed. They're good people. If you need a salesman...
There's a 37 in my area with an ADM that has been on the lot for over 6 months. They're waiting for the guy with an itch to walk in. Not too many of those guys left these days...
The 10 speed has been taking 755+ hp for years in the Shelby trucks. I've never read anything about Shelby modifying them, so they must be tough right out of the box.
I have a friend in the insurance business. She tells me that insurance costs are (like everything else) on the rise. She said that all insurance companies are now using our credit score to base insurance costs with. Poor score = higher rates. It does make sense.
I sold my 2022 Raptor...
All humor aside, I had a similar problem with the driver seat of my 2022 Raptor. My problem was with the seat back, not the bottom as in your case. It felt like my ribs were breaking after driving it an hour or so.
The fix was simple. I'm driving a GMC Denali Ultimate now. The Raptor is...
Just sold my 2022 Code Orange 35. It was 3 weeks old with 512 miles on it. I LOVED the truck. The seat was the worst thing I ever sat in for my back. (my spine is a mess) After the first week I couldn't sleep at night it hurt so bad. It sat in the garage for 2 weeks and I finally decided...
Companies the size of Ford definitely self-insure. It's way more cost effective for them. Plus, if they were insured, once they insurance company paid Ford for the loss, the trucks would become their property and they would be able to sell them. Ford isn't allowing that to happen.
Well, I cured my seat problem. I sold the truck. I look forward to trying out the Recaro seats. If they're better I guess I'll sign up for another 8 month wait.
I was really looking forward to hearing the "NEW" improved audio system when my truck arrived. To be quite honest, while it sounds good, I had high expectations that it would be much better than my Gen 2. I've read on these forums that the headrest speakers appeared to not work at all. I'd...
The front wheel wells don't need liners as they have a non-metal inner fender lining that is designed to absorb road noise and aren't harmed by rocks and debris.
No to the Recaro seats. Standard black leather. This is the first issue I've had with seats. It's sad, I waited 8 months for this truck to arrive and now with less than 500 miles on it, I can't drive it more than 15 minutes without having severe pain. I've never experienced a seat like this...
The bed and body are an aluminum & lithium alloy called "Al-Li". So rust isn't an issue. I installed the plastic liners on a 2017 Super Duty and they did great.
I've had my new truck for a few days now. I have to agree with the OP that the seat isn't the best. (for me at least) I have screws and plates in my spine as well, but the uncomfortable part is the mid back area. The seat isn't wide enough and pressures my rib cage. I don't look forward to...
