I beat myself up over the same decision and ultimately decided on PB because it was exclusive to ford performance vehicles and you wont really find anything quite like it on any other brand. With that said VB definitely pops and stands out more...but not like the Raptor needs any more help doing...
PB all day...exclusive to Ford performance vehicles and 100% unique imo. Color amazes me every time I look at it and get more complements on the color than I do in my Hellcat's Indigo Blue.
Yeah dude...so boring that its only available to ford performance vehicles...that must be it. :rolleyes
I don't work at Ford but for a marketing firm that handles some Ford projects and they (Ford marketing) are very hot on the performance blue color. It's used in just about every marketing...
Agreed. PB is the goldilocks color. Not too loud or subtle...just perfect. That and its Fords answer to all the hype when they teased everyone with the liquid blue a few years ago including the press that creamed in their pants...
In regards to ADM it will vary greatly by dealer. I have a deposit in CA at MSRP, but know of a handful of dealers charging ADM, and know of a few others that are not or were not. One of those dealers that were not adding ADM sold out of there entire allocation within minutes.
My guess is if...
I faced the same exact dilemma you're in now, and went with the healthy discount on the non recaro performance blue 802a. So far I've found the 802a seats to be the comfiest seats I've ever had in any vehicle, going back 30+ years and tbh I think the carbon fiber interior look is a tad played...
Or mine...
They do but there's only so much it can do when you're talking about 707 supercharged hp...even with the full nanny's (street mode) I would easily spin the stock pirellis. Once I switched to PS4s my traction issues all but went away making it very easy to get good launches...even on...
I own a 16' Hellcat. Traction can be an issue, especially with the junky stock Pirellis but there's, absolutely, no comparison in terms of power with my raptor... like not even in the same league...we are talking 3.4 vs 5.0 second 0-60 stock...that's a lot of car lengths man.
Comparing both is odd but value wise I think they are about equal.
The C8 is a 2 seat high performance sports car. Great for canyon carving, boulevard cruising, and track. It will offer world class performance for around 60k but offers almost zero utility.
Raptor is a high performance off road...
Thanks for sharing your girly, feminine truck pics. :joke:
For real though, PB w/ the optioned wheels is hands down, the best raptor combo imo. I was leaning black on my future purchase but this thread completely changed my mind. Thanks for sharing, keep them coming and bravo to anyone who...
Finally checking in...been lurking for many years and I think it's finally my time to pull the trigger on a Raptor. Hoping to make a purchase in CA real soon!
Trying to work a deal for a few thousand off MSRP in southern ca. Does anyone have any dealer recommendations not out of state?
There are at least 300 Raptors in stock in a 50 mile radius within LA. You figure someone would want to deal before 20s start rollin in...
