Done this one and it's fun. Some sand to be aware of. Would be a bit of a cruise from Denver. Several fun trails in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Try Hayden Pass as it starts on one side of the mountain and ends up on the other side so no need to turn around.
Great books for finding 4 wheel trails in Colorado as mentioned by Denvertaco07. They recently published the Fourth Edition - Guide to Colorado Backroads & 4-Wheel-Drive Trails and another one that is the Northern Colorado Edition. Highly recommended for finding great trails in Colorado. They...
Any idea why my truck 2013 SCREW alarm goes off for no reason when I lock it an leave it? Happens at my house, when camping, etc. Drives me crazy to not be able to lock it up without the alarm sounding with nothing near the truck to set it off. Anyone else had this issue?
I've been running the Goodyear Duratrac tires on both my 2013 Raptor and previous F150 4X4. A whole lot quieter than the MT Bajas that were on my Beast before and run great in the snow, on ice and off road. I live in Colorado and have been hitting most of the offroad passes out here. Good grip...
Two great books to read and reference by a good friend of mine, Bob Wohlers.

I don't know....Sh!t Happens. I've owned a couple vehicles that caught on fire. Flammable objects like paper and plastic don't do well around catalytic converters. Wiring issues are probably the biggest culprit. With the number of vehicles out there and the miles of wiring in current day...
Great to own a Raptor in your favorite color. Of the reds I do like the Ruby Metallic. A bit of a candy apple to it.
Colorado Springs on the foothills of the Rockies. Yep, dozens of Mulies in the yard every day. Cruised up to Estes Park a few weeks ago and saw herds of Elk in the hundreds.
Out...
2013 Blue Flame. I'm personally stuck on Gen 1 for now cuz I love the V8. Can't get away from the way the Beast rumbles then growls when I accelerate. I love the blue cuz it stands out. Not a fan of the black, white or red trucks. Nothing against them, again, to each their own. Hell, if I were...
I'm in Colorado so I do get to do some pretty cool offroading. Not the same as in the desert going fast, but do that when I visit family in Vegas. She loves the dirt, snow, rocks, whatever. Even on the street she is a fun truck to drive. I've had dozens of trucks and this one is more fun and...
Either you love to drive it, or you don't. No matter, it's just another machine we big kids get to play with. Damn, I think they fly through the dirt fine right out of the box. Never understood all the expensive mods, but that's just me. Love to drive in the dirt and this toy is one of the most...
Funny how a forum about a truck, although an Awesome one I must admit, can create so much animosity. Own one and love it, hate it, whatever. Who cares what anyone else thinks about it. Weird that Raptor guys talk like they were Ford vs Chevy. Is that the norm on here? Just asking for a friend...
The sound of the V8 is why I'm sticking with a Gen1. She done everything I've put her up to; offroad, in the snow, mountains, desert and on the roads. Always fun to drive and looks badass on and off road. You made a good choice even if you never fulfill all your trucks abilities.
The factory jack sucks so I picked up an aluminum floor jack at Harbor Freight and it fits perfectly under the rear seat strapped to the D rings. Couple 2X4s if needed for height.
