Fixed = straight, should answer your question about your frame being truly straight again.

Just remember if your frame is bent the SDHQ kit won't fit.

Just spoke to SDHQ, as they said before, the only problem is with the inside plug. So If your frame is the thicker version the inside plug will not seat properly. They said the problem will be obvious. So I guess my early 2012 has the original frame.

I have an early build 2012. I used the first version of the SDHQ frame support kit and it fit with no problems. So the early 2012 might not have the thicker frame.

Prior to installing the kit, I had my truck out in the desert numerous times. I push the truck pretty hard and haven't bent the frame. It takes a hard hit at the right time to cause a bend. A friend of a friend has has used his raptor to prerun the Baja 1000 over the past three years. Never bent...

The raptor was built as wide as the ford production line would allow without a major overhaul. As for the front bump stops, they are incorporated into the front shock.

My 2012 has metal covers. Build date was in Sept 2011.
