That's where I'm at. My fenders are covered in pinstripes. Finding a Line-X dealer that has the equipment to do Ultra spray and is willing to do fenders has been difficult for me. I've contacted about five different Line-X vendors and they for some reason don't want to do it. Ultra makes it $900...
It is. But they make one called Ultra which is less abrasive to the touch and can be color-matched. Unfortunately, Line-X can't match the exact magnetic color of the flares as it's metallic.
Did you just buy the basic Powertrain Care? I would not have purchased that plan betting that the component failing would be covered under basic 5 year/60k.
I purchased Premium Care that covers a lot more as I was concerned about the electronic components on the truck that would not be covered...
I need your help. I'm been trying to get my fender flares/dovetails Line-X'ed for the last month. Finally found one that will do Ultra (two hours away from me). I submitted the color as Ford J7 (magnetic) and now I'm being told that corporate kicked back the order stating they can't match...
Updates for Sync have never worked over WiFi. Ford used the have a website called Syncmyride where you downloaded from their site to a USB stick to update the software. That site was extremely buggy.
Their new site is https://owner.ford.com
Register/login there and you'll see a section for...
Safelite in my area will not replace with OEM even if the insurance company will cover the cost. But I've read on here that other Safelite`s do so I would confirm this when you schedule.
I ended up being referred to a local shop which could order the OEM windshield and install.
I don't have...
Update: Stopped by the Line-X dealer over the weekend and placed a custom color (magnetic) to try and match the existing look. Going to do the fenders as well as the trim pieces behind the rear ones. One thing I realized is that on Line-X's website they offer a premium coating (Ultra) that...
I like Line-X but not for the entire truck [emoji16]. I do want to have some resale value for my never been offroaded vehicle when it comes time to sell. [emoji14]
Sorry should have been more specific. I got a quote for full side protection (including doors) and the hood. Basically what was excluded was the roof and the tailgate. I got two quotes for Llumar/Suntek premium film and they have both were in that ballpark.
Want to keep the paint up but the...
I got my car detailed after the last off-road run and he was able to get 95% of the pinstriping off of the paint but my fender flares are looking pretty bad.
I'm looking at replacing them but can't seem to find them on Tasca. Does anyone have an idea as to how much they cost to replace all...
I see a lot of VB in my area and I'm not that crazy about it, and this is coming from someone who usually likes loud colours as a former ruby red owner.
If it were a darker blue I would be all for it but it's a little smurfy for me...
As I have Big Wheel 2-ton, I was going to go with the linked one above.
Didn't do it as I wanted the jack to be placed further forward in the bed along with the tire. I'm going with a modular track that attaches to the bed where I can adjust tie-downs as needed. The jack is going to be bolted...
FYI for anyone interested.
Today I saw 4wd.com has the 2-Ton big wheel from $409.99 to $348.49 and the jack mount is also discounted from $153.99 to $115.49. A kicker of a 15% discount with the website listed coupon code.
Subtotal for both is $417.58 pre-tax with free shipping. Best deal...
We're out there. Next time your going post and let's make it a meet up. I could spend all day on the bowls.
I usually tag along with other Jeep groups as the Raptor meet ups seem to happen only once a year.
The actual LED's for the different colors are not there anymore. Cost cutting. Someone on here used FORscan to enable to option to appear on the Sync menu, but it doesn't change the color.
It's interesting they got rid of it since Ford was the first to come up with different ambient lighting...
Windshield heater or wiper deicer? Usually the heating elements are imbedded into the windshield so it would require a new one be installed and assuming the power to them could easily be retrofitted.
If it's a windshield heater that would be rather impressive. I have it on my other vehicle...
I was looking at this one as well but the description lists 21" in one section but then 18 3/8" in another. I believe the actual height is 18 3/8".
