I run with a pair of VisionX LED's that have 4 10watt lenses each, and I tucked them inside the bumper cutout. I bought a VisionX dimmer switch which allows me to run with them on the road all the time.
Total investment - about $800.00
Strafe (Adam) has the same ADD bumper powder coated from them, and it only took 6 months for it to show signs of rust here with our abundance of salt coated roads.
I agree with Gord, get it done locally (either powder or Linex) to deal with the conditions you have on a regular basis.
AARG - July 1 pre-run after flood
Gettin the boots wet after last June's flooding here in Calgary.
And Strafe's vid of going through the new river (used to be a dried up bed...)

My dealer gave me $45k when I traded my 2010 in for my 2012 - and that was with 60k (km) hard driving.
The differences in the truck, as mentioned above, are more luxury but the core can still take a good pounding off-road. I`m not a huge fan of the Torsion front diff at high speeds, but with...
I put the VisionX Xmitter lights in my bumper and bought their dimmer switch to drive on the street with them. There are two switches - one's a push button and the other is a dial you can set. I'd recommend the dial switch as I have had quite a few people high-beam me lately even when it's set...
From today's run, looks like a lot of you guys have these now!
Now if only there was an attachment to keep y'alls bed covers from flying off when we hit the high speed bumpy stuff:jester:
I'm running a pair of VisionX lights in the lower bumper with their dimmer switch. It allows me to run all the time with the lights on at 50% and when I need the boost at night I just flick a switch.
Well where I grew up there was no sand - only rocks and lots of mud, so my roots are playing in the slippery stuff.
The sunroof allowed great ventilation, and all the mud that came in went on her side so it wasn't too bad!
Yeah, I played around for over 30 min trying to find a way out. But it was fun for the few people out with us that hadn't seen that kind of wheeling before!
AARG September 22 run in Edmonton - lots of trails were impassible due to trucks running 44's digging it out all season, but we found a few places to play...

Playing in the mountains a couple weekends ago, I found the limits of how long my truck is. Thanks to the Torsen, I was able to crawl out after a few tries, but I sure pounded the trailer hitch into the bottom of the ditch a bit :)
Strafe and I decided to pre-run the Ghost river trail before next Sunday's AARG run and survey the flood damage. Over half our trails were wiped out and now a river runs through it where it was dry for years. Here's a link to what it was last year
After we figured out where to get across...
Damn, rough luck for sure there. Axles also snap easily with fatigue - it's a combination of everything the truck has been put through - not always a simple light slide into a ditch.
From the looks of those photos, you would probably like coming on some of our runs in the Calgary area once you...
I got a 37 a couple weeks ago out in McLean but that was just playing diagonally on a hill slowly until the back tire came off the ground.
Playing with the angles isn't for everyone, but for people that like to work the truck hard, its good too know where your limits and comfort levels are on...
Lol - well Jordan and I were running stock except my exhaust and mid-perch.
Here's a link to the Offroading thread where I was able to get a couple videos up last night.
Well we never made it off the roads as the trails were too wet and muddy, but we had a great time today playing in the staging area and main roads to the trails!
A fun time was had by all, and nothing got broken. We all did carry home a few extra pounds of mud, but nothing an hour with a...
AARG Run May 26
Well they look good clean, but where we ran today there was nothing but mud... But its cool when all the trucks are the same color at the end of a run...
Strafe and I will post more later and some vids in the 'Offroading your Raptor' section.
Basically just take the main road until it ends after a few miles. There's where the riverbed starts and there's lots of room to open up!
We're doing Maclean on May 26 if you can join us that would be great.
Yeah I don't know why all my FB pics disappear, but here's some of the install, and a link to a vid from Sunday's run.
Facebook pics still don't show up, but if you 'right click' on them it takes you to the image. Maybe I shouldn't be posting at 3am but I'm on vacation so to...
I'd love to but the kit just isn't in the budget right now.
Although, I might break something while wheeling at Waiporous tomorrow, so the budget may need to be adjusted :)
