I was at El Cajon Ford yesterday getting an air filter for the GT500, salesman tried really hard to get me to trade my 14 Screw for one of the six 2017 Raptors they had on the lot. $96,000 plus tax/title/lic = No thanks!
I kindly explained that I had 30K in mods and still have less money...
I personally love the stance and how the truck rides with the Deaver +3 leafs, I am running RST 18 with two spares, jack and 2 fuel cans. I don't believe running only one spare in your bed will be that much different but I can't say for certain. Maybe someone running +2 deavers will chime in?
I'm running RPG BOLT kit and glass fenders. You are more than likely better sticking with 35's unless you are going to spend a bunch of $$$ on suspension mods...
I've been running Toyo R/T's 37x12.5x17's for a couple months now, roughly 4k miles. They are quiet which is nice and seem to be a really good tire. Can't weigh in on how well they wear however. Based on the amount of time your truck spends on the pavement I don't think you can go wrong with R/T's.
Picked up the "Pittsburg 3ton" skid from ORW here locally and the jack from Harbor Freight. Many online retailers carry them:
Pittsburgh 3 Ton Aluminum Floor Jack Mount Kit For 7" Wide Jacks Drilling Required - Kartek Off-Road
I've got a extra set of front brake lines I don't need if you haven't found any yet? I had front/rear lines put on and received another set of front brake lines included with my BOLT kit.
I have the machined Standards and ordered raw/no powder coat to match the wheel. I've seen several trucks on here with machined wheels and black center caps as well.
