    Same thing happened to me Pat...on both sides. Was making a hell of a noise at full droop. The right side was so bad it tore the mount from the frame. A little redneck ingenuity to get straightened back out some welding and I'm good to go! My alignment guy just shakes his head lol.....

    Got a front bumper built, tire gate and bed rack fabbed, fluids good to go and all equipment is packed, lights wired, even had time to get out the tire groover and open up the BFG's a bit. ....with 3 days to spare! The wife is asking why I can be ready for Havoc, but put everything else in life...

    While im all for lubrication, in my case the penetrating oil did not make a difference. Because of the bolts used- with the bearing surface - or "washer" under the head of the bolt being so large, and the fact that you cant get to or even see the nuts, the penetrating oil never reached the...

    Went with a simple rack...for now. Has a spot for 5 gal fuel jug, 2 small coolers, tool box, and jack. Spare will bolt down to this (lay down) when the tire gate comes off and the bed cover go back on for the winter. Will try to take a pic tonight with everything strapped down.

    I fabbed my own tire gate and made this mount to hold the camera. I thought about making a couple somewhat similar that could be mounted on a TireGate by drill/tapping a couple 1/4" holes. Any interest out there??

    Also got a few requests for bed mounted racks....this one is going into a buddy's Chevy. Working on mine now, again will be bolt in(to existing bed mount bolts), but will not have a tire mount like this one. Thinking spots for tool box, jack,cooler, fuel jug....and whatever else I can fit
